Accessibility statement

Trattoria Alle Piante is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities, by voluntarily adopting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA and the European standard EN 301 549. This is not a legal obligation: the stricter requirements of the European Accessibility Act, in force since 28 June 2025, mainly apply to public bodies and large private operators. This statement is a voluntary good practice.

Compliance status

The site is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. An automated review (colour-contrast scan and keyboard-navigation testing) was carried out on a sample of pages in all three languages, and found no violations. This review, however, does not cover the whole standard: automated tools only catch a portion of WCAG criteria (roughly estimated at 30-57%) and do not replace testing with real assistive technology.

Aspects not yet examined

There is currently no known non-accessible content or feature. Still to be done: testing with real assistive technology (screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver), a review by a party independent of the development team, and verification of the WCAG criteria not covered by automated scanning tools. Until these checks are completed, the site remains declared partially compliant.
